This reduction in income can have serious consequences for family financial security. Oxen Clinic Uganda will work with rural farmers to aggregate crops and provide transportation to get the best price possible for the farmers. To ensure the safe handling of currency, farmers will be paid through mobile money services. This enables farmers to learn the sale price of their crops immediately and will eliminate the chance of cash being lost due to theft. In addition to assisting with marketing, Oxen Clinic Uganda will provide farmers with information on reducing post-harvest losses
